Whenever you’re planning a trip with friends and looking for accommodations, someone always asks this question.
“So how many of us are there?”
That’s exactly the first thing guests ask when they inquire about Nosong Village for a trip to Jeonju with their friends.
The group size is awkwardly large.
Pensions feel cramped, and guesthouses with shared dorms are inconvenient.
Many guests come to us after struggling to find something in between.
Today, I want to organize and share that story with you.

What exactly is Nosong Village?
First, let me clarify the name.
We directly manage two properties.
Nosong Mansion, our aesthetic space, and Nosong Byeoljang, which has a kids’ play area.
When one group rents both properties together, we call it Nosong Village.
You’re not booking them separately—it’s the concept of one group using both at once.
Since it can accommodate up to 12 people, it’s actually perfect for friend groups with awkwardly large numbers.
Instead of sharing rooms, you’re essentially sharing buildings, so you run into each other much less.
Here’s a question we get often
Q. Is Nosong Village a separate property name?
A. No, it’s the name of the usage style when you rent Nosong Mansion and Nosong Byeoljang together.
Why it works so well for friend groups
With friends, preferences naturally diverge.
Some want to chat late into the night, while others prefer to sleep early.
That’s why we see guests naturally split the space.
The rooftop and living room become the shared gathering spaces.
When someone wants to rest quietly, everyone naturally spreads out to their own properties.
· When everyone’s together: rooftop, living room
· When you want quiet time: Nosong Mansion or Nosong Byeoljang separately
· For unpacking and personal time: scattered across rooms
Just having this flow planned out ahead of time makes the trip much more comfortable.

How is the rooftop actually used?
The rooftop is guests’ favorite space at Nosong Village.
Many guests head up there when the sunset hits.
To be honest, you can freely enjoy delivery food or simple snacks, but BBQ isn’t allowed.
We restrict it due to smoke and smell issues, so knowing this beforehand will save you disappointment.
One guest told us, “We couldn’t do BBQ, so we got late-night delivery food instead, and that wasn’t bad either.”
About the living room space
On rainy days or during daytime, the living room becomes the gathering spot.
Some guests actually prefer the living room to the rooftop for games and conversations.

What about the location?
Jeonju Hanok Village is a 3-minute drive away, or about a 10-minute walk.
Many groups leave their luggage at the property and walk out to explore.
Free parking is available, so friend groups coming in multiple cars don’t have to worry.
We use self check-in, so late arrivals aren’t a problem.

How do Nosong Mansion and Nosong Byeoljang differ?
The two properties have quite different characters.
Nosong Mansion is an aesthetic space with high ceilings and an open feel.
We hear often that guests sleep comfortably because we use hotel-quality bedding.
Nosong Byeoljang has an indoor kids’ room with a slide, trampoline, and a play kitchen area.
Even on friend trips, if someone’s bringing kids, this space becomes surprisingly helpful.
Adults spend time in Nosong Mansion’s aesthetic space while kids play in Nosong Byeoljang’s kids’ room—the flow naturally divides.
Q. Does it make sense to use both properties even if it’s just friends?
A. Yes, guests report that spreading across two spaces is much more comfortable than everyone staying in one.
Perfect trips for this setup
· Long-awaited friend reunions and trips
· Trips with families with kids and other friends
· Three-generation family vacations
· Small group gatherings (up to 12 people)
On the flip side, if it’s just two or three people or a quiet couples’ trip, renting Nosong Mansion alone might be a better fit.
We’re happy to guide you based on your situation if you ask before booking.

The downsides—being honest
If I only mentioned the good parts, you wouldn’t trust us, so I want to be upfront about the limitations.
Not being able to do BBQ is something summer guests often wish they could do.
While the two properties are close, they’re not one connected building, so you need to step outside briefly to move between them.
I’m listing these two things because I think it’s right to mention them upfront.
